Kadeks is a textile company based in Izmir, Turkey that focuses on sustainable textile products.
We work vertically, and get involved in every step of the supply chain starting from cotton, to yarn, to fabric and to non-garment textile goods.
We are a part of Kadioglu Group of Companies whose main line of business is agricultural products.
Business started early 1900s with cotton trading and ginning as well as dried fruit supply to exporters.
With second generation in business, exports of these products started in 1950s. With 3rd generation in business, we diversified in wheat flour milling and animal feed milling in 1980s and organic dried fruits, cotton and cereals production and exports early 1990s as well as garment manufacturing from both organic and conventional cotton.
With 4th generation in business, in 2013 we have established Ege Organics GmbH and moved some of our marketing operations to Germany. Our active presence in strongest market in Europe helped us provide better service for our current and prospective customers. There we have also focused on branding and created 3 brands under our new roof: EO Home (home textiles), Igi Natur (children's wear) and Manifutura (fabric & yarn).
Currently we have trade partners from various countries including Germany, Sweden, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Canada, the US, Australia, Japan and Korea. This variety widens our business horizon and helps us adjust to expectations from different cultures.
Since the establishment, we have been working with our exclusive farms for organic cotton. Our local partners have been the pioneers of organic textile in Turkey.
Due to the regulations by the Turkish Republic, all cotton produced in Turkey is GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) free. We avoid using chemicals that endanger the product or the farmers’ health. Our cotton products ensure the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and we provide TCs (Transaction Certificate) with deliveries.
Hence, there is no other third party between us and our customers that affects the “Cost and Quality Balance” of our products with which we are happy to have reached to the global quality standards and competitiveness with the final target to “Turn a Trademark to The Trend of New Generations” combining experience of the old and dynamism of the young generation.
While product diversification was not regarded as correct approach, with the R&D department Kadeks was the first company in Turkey to develop and present a fully sustainable fabric line-up including but not limited to activewear, casualwear and technical fabric using ORGANIC COTTON, MODAL, TENCEL, HEMP, RECYCLED COTTON and RECYCLED POLYESTER. The lessons and values learned from organic cotton presents themselves on our superbly flourished fabrics.
